Ive probably got 2...

My Wilson Lob Wedge (60 degree) for those up and downs.... and
My Wilson Deep Red Driver (10.5 degrees). Managed to work out how to use it a year ago and its been knocking shots off my game ever since...

Just sold my Wilson Deep Red II driver, as have moved to a brand new TaylorMade R7 Draw driver. This new club is wonderful but feels like cheating - I really don't have to do anything but an unforced swing and the ball goes for miles in a straight line!! Recommended.

Hi Rod,

I currently have a Cobra 370 which I've had for quite a few years now so feel it's time to replace it, so I was interested to read your comments re your new driver. What made you decide on this one, and did yoiu get to try it on a range before choosing it? If you compared it with other drivers, which ones were you considering?

If you don't mind me asking what is your handicap?

Hi Monty
Handicap is 24 and hopefully improving! I originally tried a new Cobra F-speed at a demo day at my club. Was impressed with that and wandered into American Golf a week or so later to see what else might suit. I had a go on their laser/computer thingy and tried out the Cobra, a Callaway, Ping G5 and the just in TaylorMade. Accoriding to the analysis my grouping and length were significantly better with the TaylorMade Draw. Also it felt much better to me in the swing - it doesn't seem to 'fight' you but just travels straight through. No doubt this is due to the draw weighting but is certainly works for me as long as I do not try to swing over fast, as I have a tendency to roll my wrists over the ball if I do that and send it left at ground height (I'm right handed).
My next task is to see if more modern fairway woods might be usable. I shank and toe the Deep Red II set I have at present, or maybe I won't bother as I can hit me 6 iron as far and with much more consistency
Rod
