In a MIXED competition the ladies play from the ladies tees, the men from the mens tees. Check which colour tees on the day, usually the competition tees, but not always.

Nik, if it is an official MIXED competition and you happen to be the only lady entrant, then you will be off the ladies tees.

If it is a competition for men that you are being allowed to enter, then you need to contact the organiser or the comp. committee. This is an unusual situation and one that I am not familiar with.
But I would be extremely surprised if, having been invited to play, you are off the men's white tees.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.
