| which tee is a lady golfer to play off in a mixed competition? the red or white?
the competition is mainly men i believe i will be the only lady |

| In a MIXED competition the ladies play from the ladies tees, the men from the mens tees. Check which colour tees on the day, usually the competition tees, but not always.

| | because there is no ladies section and i will be the only lady to play in the general competition does this mean i play off the competition tees (white)? whereas in general play the men play from yellow tees and ladies from red tees |

| Nik, if it is an official MIXED competition and you happen to be the only lady entrant, then you will be off the ladies tees.
If it is a competition for men that you are being allowed to enter, then you need to contact the organiser or the comp. committee. This is an unusual situation and one that I am not familiar with.
But I would be extremely surprised if, having been invited to play, you are off the men's white tees.
