| Hi,
I found the Scout Golf Finder product on a website and it's been endorsed by Nick Faldo and just wanted to hear from anyone who has one or has tried one. Seems like a great idea buy I'd just like to get some feedback before doling out £129 on it.

The blurb on their site says:
The Ballfinder Scout™ is an innovative electronic device that can quickly locate hard-to-find golf balls. Developed by world-famous scientists at Sarnoff Corporation, the Ballfinder Scout™ uses a proprietary digital imaging system to locate golf-ball white in all natural settings. It works with any standard white golf ball. The 3.2-megapixel imager locates golf balls within seconds at 35 feet when only 3 dimples are visible. A vibro-buzz confirms successful ball location, and LED lights that point the direction.

| | I bought one of these, simply to see if it was any good, its not, complete waste of money, it is also difficult to use, it picks up anything white on the course, even litter, im very disappointed in it and if I could i would get my money back. I also have a radargolf i bought from the US now thats the business, it is brilliant. |

| Hi,
Saw your note about Radar Golf System on the forum from earlier this year, can you tell me whether you had to pay Vat on the unit after buying from the states?
How do you find the machine in everyday use...does it do what it says on the box?

I also purchased a 'Ballfinder' via the web for £89 + VAT. Complete waste of money. It does work; but it can also fail to recognise a ball when in clear view, so reducing your confidence in the equipment. Not only difficult to use but really slows down your golf game, because you have to 'pan' slowly. Finally mine is heavy on batteries because it will only work when at peak charge. |

| I also have a Ballfinder and indeed its really difficult to use. I ended up finding the ball myself instead of using it. I was so frustrated. Do you know anything thats worth the try?
