| Your Control Panel consists of the following sections (which can be accessed once you're logged on): - Account Summary
- Private Messaging
- Your Profile
- Options
- Subscriptions
Here is a summary of what each section within your Control Panels allows you to do: Account Summary displays: your current email address used for logon, summary info on your postings, last 5 unread Private Messages, last 5 Buddies online and a Personal Notepad. Private Messaging contains your: Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Private Messaging Folders and Buddy/Ignore List. Your Profile consists of: Registration Details, Contact Detials, Peronsal Details, Edit Signature, Edit Avatar and Edit Personal Photo. Options available are: Forum Settings, Email Settings, Edit Attachments and Edit Topic Ratings. |
Personal Notepad - allows you to keep notes that you can refer to whenever you wish to. Buddy/Ignore List - use this area to set up your 'Buddies' so that you can see when they are online or, if there are members that you do not wish to see you or have contact with you, add them to your Ignore List. Personal Details - in this section you can enter information about yourself such as location, occupation, your interests, date of birth as well as a short biography. If you wish to keep your DOB private then you can edit it be deselecting dates. Edit Signature - you can personalise your emails by setting up a signature template to be added as a footer to your emails. Avatars - these are pictures that you can upload that will be displayed next to your name when you add topics or reply to messages within the forum, it will become your identity. Edit Personal Photos - you can upload a photo of yourself which will be visible to others if they view your profile. |
