This is my usual haunt. Near Lineholt and Droitwich between Kidderminster and Worcester. Beautiful views over the Severn Valley to the Malvern and Clee Hills. It was lessons and the social meetings here, in fact, that drew me into golf about 18 months ago. Quite young course (15-20 years old) with broad forgiving fairways - in fact ideal to learn on. It's a pay and play course with levels of further membership. Active men and ladies teams and a good atmosphere. Bar and restaurant very enjoyable but the kitchen could do with a more professional attitude to staying open longer into the evening. Well stocked pro shop with three PGA (two men one woman) Instructors. I have updated the details and the card on the Elitegolf solutions site and their own web site can be found at www.ombersleygolfclub.co.uk

Hi Rod

My home course is Bromsgrove also pay and play. Which I feel very passionate about. Its a beautiful parkland course. The course is quite new and kept in very good condition by lots of friendly ground keepers who give a friendly chat as you go by. The course is challenging for new and experienced players. It has long par 5 holes and shorter par 3's which catch me out everytime. The lake on the 16th must be quite full of my balls by now! The club house is well run by friendly staff. The catering is excellent.

I am new to golf like yourself only been playing 18 months my friend and I will be playing Ombersley soon (weather permitting don't do rain!) come and see what you think of Bromsgrove.
