Looking to get a good Hybrid 2 or 3 club. So far, i've tried HALO and TaylorMade Rescue. HALO, by far, much better than taylormade!

Now that there's the Hi-Bore, which I've been told is similiar to the HALO, is a tad heavier, and slightly (and I mean slightly) bigger head. But that means harder to get the ball out of the rough.

Anyone got any views on this?

If you are hitting the HALO well then just stick with it.It is probably cheaper than the hibore as well.

Hi,

I've got to agree with Scott: if you're comfortable with the Halo and can hit it well then there seems little point in changing to something else in the hope that it might be a little bit better and, as you said, the Halo has a slightly smaller head which reduces it's chance of snagging. Appearance and feel are very important, as well as the ability to hit the ball with the club, so it really is a very personal thing.

Let us know how you get on with it.

Monty and Scott,

Thanks for your views. Actually I haven't got anything yet, apart from my John Letters (which I got ages ago). The thing is I'm a gal, and HI-BORE doesn't have a female version yet, but if it's better than the HALO, I'll wait a while (probs brings down the price of the HALO too!) So just really polling out to see whether I should wait or not!

For all those who have read (or now reading) this post, just to let you know that I got 2 KASCO clubs - Japanese manufacturer (Japanese versions) - and they are PERFECT! but very expensive too....

33 (16 deg) and 44 (19 deg) PowerTornado perfectly replaces 1 and 2 irons!

http://www.kascogolf.com/europe/ - K2K is the equivalent European version.
