Hi,

I'm Dave, 40 years old and started playing golf in May this year. I'm rubbish but really enjoy it.

Cheers.

Hi Dave

Welcome to the great game of golf. To enjoy the game has to be commended in an age where far to much emphasis is placed upon score, stats and money lists.

This is not a pastime, but a life commitment.

Hi Mike,

Yeah, I just love getting out there and having a good time at the moment. I'm sure the better i get the more intense it will become.

I played at Sixhills near Leicester last Saturday and it absolutely poured down, loved it though!!

I've only managed to play about once a month this year but it seems that everytime I play it pours down! My last game was at Minchinhampton (Old Course) which I arrived at late because I went to the wrong course and by the time I caught up with my society they were on the 4th hole. As I arrived at the tee the heavens opened... I walked off on the 10th and went back to clubhouse to dry off and enjoy a few drinks. I do love this game....but come on, not when it rains all the time. I'm starting to take this personally now!

Welcome pal.

As long as you enjoy it, that is the main thing.

They say

A bad day on the golf course, is better than a good day in work.
