Although I know my handicap is around 24 I now need a handicap certificate as I'm going to play golf at The Belfry in January and have been told that I need proof of my playing ability.

Has anyone here used Elite Golf's handicap or know anyone that has?

The site looks great and the testimonials are very impressive, but just wanted to hear from someone who has got one.

Hi Jack.
I have a certificate through EGS.
Very easy to use and cheap.
Very efficient service.
I recommend it.

Hi JacktheLad

Like duke, I have a handicap issued by EGS.

The site offers you the facility to register for a free trial, and your handicap will be calculated if you enter 3 cards. However, you will only be issued a certificate as a paying member.

But, as duke says, the cost is relatively low, particularly compared to that for joining a golf club.

The service is extremely efficient, and you can enter an endless number of cards during you yearly membership. EGS also offer a free replacement handicap certificate as your handicap reduces.

I fully intend to renew my membership in 2008.

Regards,

Albert Ross

Thanks lads, I'm going to register today. I had a look at a few other sites but was not very impressed by them, esp one where you have to print out your own handicap on paper after entering your scoreards...get this, they don't even check the cards that you enter where EGS request that you send them in first.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Jack
