Has anyone played on these virtual golf course's and what did you think of it. A club near me has just installed one and with the weather being so crap i thought i might give it a go although a bit expensive for just one person. so thought i might get a fourball together and give it a go

Just to let you know we went along and played the virtual golf course and had a great time would recommend it to anyone who wants to play even when the weather is poor. One bad thing about it is, that it didn't improve my putting

Hi Tiger,

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I've played on them a few times during bad weather and thoroughly enjoyed it... and didn't feel so tired afterwards, even if a bit merry due to drinking between shots. As you mention the cost is too high for one but split between 4 it was pretty reasonable

It took us a few minutes to get used to the settings etc. but once done it was quite easy to use. Because there is a time limit it's best to be organised so that each player is ready to play in turn, that way we could get quite a few holes in.

When I played on the simulator it was near Bristol and I'm now living in Surrey, does anyone know of any around this area?
