Hi Simon,

I joined EGS on recommendation of a few friends. I've used the handicap card a few times in the UK without any problems at all and plan to use it later this year in France and Portugal. My friends - who recommended it - have been members for a few years and have used them several times abroad and tell me that EGS handicaps are recognised so no problems at all.

Where are you planning to use it?

Ah right thats good to hear.
I sent my 3 scorecards off last night so should have it by end of week.
We've a few course round were i live that require a handicap certificate to play them and wouldn't mind having a round on them as there is some good winter deals for them.

Have a look on www.teetimes.co.uk for some good deals

Hi Simon.

Never had a problem. I have been asked for handicap cards at a number of clubs and they have always been happy with the EGS card.

so get your three cards off.

Received my card through post today. Was impressed with the speedy response, as only emailed them my scorecards on Monday night.

I have played on quite a few courses, never had a problem with the card not being accepted.
