| Yesterday a golf buddy tee'd off and sent his ball into the water infront of the tee. The water was running across the front of the teeing ground and as such was marked by yellow stakes, thus not a lateral hazard. He then played the following shot from the teeing ground again, under penalty of one stroke, But for the second ''drive" he used a tee peg. Is this allowed ?
It's a funny thing, the more I practice the luckier I get |

| The answer is yes! when replaying from the teeing ground the player may tee up the ball see rule 20-5
20-5. Making Next Stroke from Where Previous Stroke Made
When a player elects or is required to make his next stroke from where a previous stroke was made, he must proceed as follows:
a. On the Teeing Ground: The ball to be played must be played from within the teeing ground. It may be played from anywhere within the teeing ground and may be teed.
