New TaylorMade R7 Draw Driver, Wilson Deep Red II fairway woods (3, 5, 7), Wilson Deep Red II graphite fatshaft irons plus lob wedge, Odyssey Dual Force Rossi putter.

As in my other post I did have a Deep Red II 10.5 driver (do you see the theme here!!). I am more than pleased with the new TaylorMade driver and I can use the Wilson irons very well plus I have real confidence in the putter. Which is a so & so really because I don't therefore have any excuse to buy more new clubs (except maybe the fairway woods which I am very irratic with).

Why do trees get in the way?

Hi, I have a Cobra 430 unlimited SS driver, currently have Cobra SS forged irons but these are going for a set of Wilson Di7's 4-SW, Cleveland RTG 53 & 60 degrees wedges a Mizuno raw black ox 50 degree wedge (favourite club) and a Hippo NG7 putter....current handicap 20, played off 10 18 months ago and got carried away by buying the cobra irons, can't hit them and confidence is shot .....hahah, anyway the wilsons should sort that out, I was using Wilson fat shafts when playing off 10.

Getting back into golf so I bought the Ben Sayers MX7 set with bag so everything is Ben Sayers. Looking to buy more specific clubs soon. First one will be a 60degrees loft wedge.

I bought a Callaway Lob Wedge a year or so ago and wouldn't be without it now, it's got superb feel to it and very easy to use, unlike some other Lob Wedges that I've used/tried. Cost me about £60 but well worth the money.

The only other Callaway club that I own is a Big Bertha 2-iron... what a club that is. I've always felt more comfortable hitting long irons from the fairway rather than rescue clubs or woods and the Callaway such a dream to use; it has quite a flat sole and is easy to sweep the ball off the fairway, even short rough is not a problem. I've also used it many times from fairway bunkers. Most people are impressed at me being able to use a 2-iron, but to be honest, this one is no more difficult to use than a 5-iron.

I also find it difficult to play with the rescue clubs from the fairway. My favourites are 9-iron and then for anything else onto the green the 7 or 6 irons.

Unfortunately my set came with 3 wood and 4/5 hybrids which i am not to fond of and never use.

Unfortunately I no longer own a 7-iron (well I do, but it's now a 2 piece club) as I wrapped around a branch at Dewstow playing a punch shot with a very low branch in the way. Now I'm in the market for a new set of clubs.

Current clubs that I have are Taylormade 200's and, although they are competent, they just never felt that great to use. A set I had years before that were Cobra's which I loved the feel of, so I may go and try them out again. Has anyone got a new set of Cobra clubs, or how about any other recommendations?
